Power station or battery
Choosing a model fills in its rated capacity and continuous AC output from the official spec sheet.
Wh
Printed on the unit or spec sheet. For mAh, convert to Wh first (see below).
W
The inverter’s rated continuous output — your total load must stay under it.
%
Share of rated capacity you can actually draw (depth of discharge).
%
Losses converting battery DC to AC. DC/USB outputs usually lose less.
Devices to run at the same time

How this calculator works

Usable energy (Wh) = rated capacity × usable capacity %
Delivered energy (Wh) = usable energy × conversion efficiency %
Runtime (hours) = delivered energy ÷ total load (W)

The defaults (95% usable × 90% efficiency ≈ 85.5%) are close to the 0.85 factor that EcoFlow and other makers use for AC devices. Choosing a model fills in its rated capacity and continuous AC output from EcoFlow’s published specifications — check them on the EcoFlow buyer’s guide.

Example (estimate). The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus is rated 1,024 Wh. Running a 60 W fan, a 10 W router and two 9 W LED bulbs (88 W in total): 1,024 × 0.855 ÷ 88 ≈ 9 h 57 min.

Limitations

  • Assumes all devices run continuously at the watts you enter.
  • Doesn’t model start-up surges, idle inverter draw, temperature or battery ageing.
  • Specs are from EcoFlow’s official pages on the date shown in our buyer’s guide; models and specs can change.

Frequently asked questions

How long will an EcoFlow power station last during a brownout?
Divide the usable energy by the watts you’re drawing. For AC devices, multiply the rated Wh by about 0.85 first. A 1,000 Wh unit running a 60 W fan and a 10 W router (70 W) lasts roughly 1,000 × 0.85 ÷ 70 ≈ 12 hours.
Why is the actual runtime different from the calculator?
Devices don’t draw a constant wattage, the inverter uses some power even at light loads, and heat and battery age reduce capacity. Treat the result as a best-case estimate and keep a margin.
Does using USB or 12 V outputs last longer?
Usually yes, because DC outputs skip the battery-to-AC conversion. Try a higher efficiency figure for DC-only devices like routers and phones.
