What to include
- Corrections: the page address, what’s wrong, and a link to the source showing the correct information.
- Calculator problems: the calculator, the values you entered, what you expected and what you saw, and your browser or phone model.
- Privacy requests: what you’d like us to do (access, correct or delete your data) and the email address you used. See our privacy policy.
- Business inquiries: installers, manufacturers and advertisers are welcome to get in touch. Commercial relationships never buy editorial coverage — see our editorial policy.
What we can’t help with
- Billing disputes, outages and connections — contact your distribution utility or electric cooperative directly. Complaints about utilities can be raised with the Energy Regulatory Commission.
- Installation, repairs or warranty claims — we don’t install or sell equipment. Contact your installer or the manufacturer.
- Electrical emergencies — keep away from damaged wiring and call your utility’s emergency hotline.
