How to use this comparison

  1. Size first. Find the system size your home needs with the solar system size calculator, then compare packages of that size.
  2. Compare like with like. Grid-tie systems switch off in a brownout; hybrid systems include batteries and cost more. Compare price per kWp within the same type.
  3. Check what’s included. Mounting for your roof type, wiring and protection, permits, net-metering processing and after-sales service vary between installers.
  4. Check the payback for the package you like with the solar payback calculator.

Questions

Which solar company is cheapest in Leyte?
Among the published packages we found, the lowest price per kWp for a grid-tie system was Solaric’s 5.6 kWp Grid Tie at about ₱48,214 per kWp. Inclusions differ between installers, so compare what’s included and get a written quote.
Why compare by price per kWp?
Packages come in different sizes. Dividing the price by the system size (kWp) lets you compare a 3 kWp and a 5 kWp package fairly. A hybrid system with batteries will always cost more per kWp than a grid-tie system.
Are these prices final?
No. They are the prices installers published on their own websites on the date shown. Final prices depend on your roof, wiring, distance, permits and current promos. Always ask for a written quote with model numbers and inclusions.
Is the cheapest package the best choice?
Not always. Check panel and inverter brands, warranties (and who honours them locally), what’s included (mounting, permits, net metering), and the installer’s credentials. Use our quote checklist.
