Best Solar Panels for the EcoFlow DELTA Pro: Series Strings Up to 150V
Solar panels for the EcoFlow DELTA Pro: one 11-150V, 15A, 1600W port. Up to 6 x 220W in series (1,320W) or 3 x 400W, with the exact cables needed.
Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.
Key takeaways
- The DELTA Pro has one solar/car input: 11-150V, 15A, 1600W max. Series wiring is how you use it well.
- Biggest verified setup: 6 x 220W NextGen in series (129V, 1,320W). Next: 3 x 400W rigid or 3 x 400W Lightweight in series (1,200W).
- None of EcoFlow's panels reaches the full 1600W on this port without going over the voltage limit, so plan on about 1,320W.
- Parallel is limited: two 220W, 160W or 400W rigid panels in parallel exceed 15A. Only the 125W Bifacial (up to 4) works in parallel.
- Example: 6 x 220W refills the 3,600Wh battery in roughly 3.9 hours of strong sun (estimate).

For the EcoFlow DELTA Pro, the strongest verified setup is 6 x EcoFlow 220W NextGen panels in series (129V open-circuit, 1,320W). Good alternatives are 3 x 400W rigid or 3 x 400W Lightweight in series (1,200W). The DELTA Pro has a single solar port rated 11-150V, 15A and 1600W, so long series strings are the way to use it.
How the DELTA Pro’s solar port works
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro has one solar/car charging input. Its high voltage limit (150V) suits series wiring, where panel voltages add up and the current stays the same. Its 15A current limit makes parallel wiring hard: two 220W panels in parallel would be 24.8A.
We keep a 5% margin under the voltage limit, so every string below stays at or under 142.5V open-circuit.
Compatibility table
| Panel | Works? | Count and wiring | Usable W | Cable | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 220W NextGen (single-face) | Yes | 1 to 6 in series | up to 1,320W | MC4-to-XT60i, included with each panel | Lazada |
| 400W Rigid (pack of 2) | Yes | 1 to 3 in series | up to 1,200W | Solar to XT60i cable, not included | Lazada |
| 400W Lightweight | Yes | 1 to 3 in series | up to 1,200W | Built-in XT60; series cable sold separately | Lazada |
| 160W NextGen (single-face) | Yes | 1 to 6 in series | up to 960W | MC4-to-XT60i, included | Shopee / Lazada |
| 125W Bifacial | Yes | 1 to 4 in parallel, or 2 in series | up to 500W | XT60W-to-XT60i, included | Lazada / Shopee |
What fails the check: 7 x 220W or 7 x 160W in series, and 4 x 400W in series (all over the voltage margin); any parallel pair of 160W, 220W or 400W rigid panels (over 15A); and 5 x 125W in parallel (16A).
A few cable notes:
- 400W rigid: the listing is two panels with no cable. Three in series means buying two packs (one panel spare) plus EcoFlow’s Solar to XT60i cable.
- 400W Lightweight: EcoFlow PH says series is recommended for this panel and the series cable is sold separately. We couldn’t identify the exact cable, so ask EcoFlow PH which one to buy.
- 125W in series: the MC4 adapter cables needed for series come only in the 500W (4 x 125W) set. For single panels, use parallel.
Example: solar charge time
6 x 220W in series is 1,320W rated.
- Example assumption: panels deliver about 70% of their rating in real Philippine sun.
- 1,320W x 0.7 ≈ 924W.
- 3,600Wh ÷ 924W ≈ 3.9 hours of strong sun.
With an example 4.5 peak sun hours a day, that’s about one sunny day from empty. Three 400W panels (about 840W real) would take closer to 4.3 hours. These are estimates, not test results.
Setup steps
- Unfold the panels in full sun, clear of shade from walls, trees and wires.
- Join the panels in series: the male MC4 lead of one into the female MC4 lead of the next. Use EcoFlow Solar Extension Cables if the leads don’t reach.
- Connect the free plus and minus leads at the ends to the MC4-to-XT60i cable, and plug it into the DELTA Pro’s solar input.
- Check that the input watts show on the screen.
A six-panel string runs well over 100V DC. Keep the connectors dry and off wet ground, and don’t handle them in the rain. Portable panels on the ground are plug-and-play and you can set them up by following the manual. Mounting panels on the roof, or connecting the DELTA Pro to your home’s wiring, needs a licensed electrician and an LGU electrical permit.
What to buy
- EcoFlow DELTA Pro on Shopee (EcoFlow Philippines store)
- 6 x EcoFlow 220W panel on Lazada, or
- 2 packs of the EcoFlow 400W Rigid panel on Lazada plus EcoFlow’s Solar to XT60i Charging Cable
- Optional: the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Extra Battery on Shopee. EcoFlow says two DELTA Pro Smart Extra Batteries take the system to 10.8kWh. Extra batteries add storage; plan your solar around the DELTA Pro’s own 1600W input.

Bottom line
Build one long series string. Six 220W NextGen panels is the most solar you can verifiably put into a DELTA Pro, and three 400W panels is the simpler alternative. Skip parallel wiring except with the 125W Bifacial.
