0.7HP to 0.8HP Aircons That Use the Least Electricity, Ranked by CSPF
Which 0.7HP or 0.8HP aircon uses the least electricity? Verified window and split units ranked by CSPF and rated watts, with Shopee and Lazada links.
Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.
Key takeaways
- The iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL 0.7HP inverter window unit has the highest verified CSPF in this size range: 5.05, at 620 W rated input and 2.05 kW capacity.
- Runner-up is the TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI 0.7HP split inverter (CSPF 4.76, 640 W).
- The LG LA080ENT 0.8HP inverter (CSPF 4.70, 800 W) has the most cooling capacity here: 2.64 kW.
- The Everest ETA07WDR3-HF draws the fewest watts (565 W) but is a fixed-speed unit with the lowest CSPF (3.25).
- Several popular 0.75–0.8HP listings were left out because their rated watts are not published or not confirmed.
On this page
The 0.7–0.8HP aircon that uses the least electricity for the cooling it gives, among verified models, is the iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL 0.7HP inverter window unit (CSPF 5.05, 620 W). The TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI 0.7HP split inverter comes second (CSPF 4.76, 640 W), and the LG LA080ENT 0.8HP inverter (CSPF 4.70, 800 W) offers the most cooling capacity in this group.
How we ranked them
CSPF first, then rated power input. CSPF is the “Energy Efficiency Rating” on the yellow DOE label: cooling delivered per kWh over a standard season, including part-load running. Rated watts is the power input at the rated test point. We included only models with both figures from a DOE label or the manufacturer.

| Rank | Model | Type | Rated input | CSPF | Stars | Rated capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL | 0.7HP window, inverter | 620 W | 5.05 | 5 (older label) | 2.05 kW |
| 2 | TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI | 0.7HP split, DC inverter | 640 W | 4.76 | 5 (older label) | 1.94 kW |
| 3 | LG LA080ENT | 0.8HP window, inverter (top discharge) | 800 W | 4.70 | 3 (newer label) | 2.64 kW |
| 4 | Kolin KAG-75WCINV | 0.75HP window, full DC inverter | 725 W | 4.45 | 5 (older label) | 2.47 kW |
| 5 | Fujidenzo WAR-750IGT | 0.75HP window, “inverter grade” (fixed-speed) | 665 W | 3.32* | 2* | Not published |
| 6 | Everest ETA07WDR3-HF | 0.7HP window, non-inverter | 565 W | 3.25 | 1 (older label) | 1.82 kW |
*Fujidenzo publishes 665 W; the CSPF and stars come from retailer Western Appliances.
What stands out
The iFFALCON wins on efficiency and capacity together. It gives 2.05 kW of rated cooling for 620 W and has the top CSPF. It is a window unit, so installation is simpler than a split. Our full iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL guide covers it in detail.
The TCL KEI is the split-type choice. If you prefer a quieter indoor unit on the wall, the TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI is the most efficient verified 0.7HP split, close behind the iFFALCON on CSPF.
The LG is bigger, not wasteful. Its 800 W input is the highest here, but so is its 2.64 kW capacity, and its CSPF (4.70) is almost the same as the TCL’s. It suits a room that needs a bit more cooling than a typical 0.7HP gives. Its 3 stars come from a newer label with different star bands, so don’t read it as “less efficient” than the 5-star units.
The Everest has the lowest watts but the weakest efficiency. At 565 W it draws less than any inverter here, but it is fixed-speed with CSPF 3.25 and only 1.82 kW capacity. Its own label calculates 122.04 kWh a month on the DOE’s standard basis. That suits short, occasional use more than all-night cooling.
Comparing the label’s monthly kWh
The label also prints a “Monthly Energy Consumption” figure. The method changed between older and newer labels, so compare it only between labels issued in the same year (the year is printed on the label). The iFFALCON (83.7 kWh) and Kolin (97.87 kWh) labels were issued in the same year, so that comparison is fair. The LG’s newer label shows 57 kWh, worked out a different way, so it is not comparable with the others.
Example monthly cost
Example only: 8 hours a night, 30 days, at an example rate of ₱12 per kWh (use your own rate from our electricity rates page).
- iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL (620 W): 148.8 kWh at full power, about ₱1,786. Inverters often run below rated power once the room is cool; the DOE’s older label method assumes half (factor 0.5), which would be 74.4 kWh, about ₱893. Your real figure depends on your room.
- Everest ETA07WDR3-HF (565 W): 135.6 kWh at full power, about ₱1,627. The DOE’s older method assumes 0.8 for fixed-speed units, which would be 108.5 kWh, about ₱1,302.
These factors are standard assumptions, not measurements. Try your own numbers in the aircon electricity cost calculator.
Not ranked (watts not confirmed)
- Fujidenzo IWAR-757T: Fujidenzo lists CSPF 4.23 and 5 stars, but no rated watts or capacity.
- TCL TAC-08CWI/UB2: the listing says 600 W and CSPF 5.22; not confirmed by a label we could open.
- Midea Qube 0.8HP (MWWA-08CRFN8): the retailer’s 864 W “rated input” looks like a maximum figure, not running watts.
- Koppel KV07WR-ARF31B, Everest Endura 0.8HP, Astron TC-L075INV: listing-only figures, model-code mismatches or no published specs.

Series listings let you pick the HP, so confirm the model code before checkout. A split unit needs refrigerant piping, so have a licensed technician or the brand’s authorised installer fit it.
Bottom line
For the least electricity per unit of cooling in the 0.7–0.8HP range, choose the iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL (window) or TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI (split). Choose the LG LA080ENT if the room needs more cooling. Treat the low-watt Everest as an occasional-use unit. For the background, see inverter vs non-inverter aircons.
