TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI Power Consumption: Watts, CSPF and Monthly Cost
TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI 0.7HP split inverter: 640 W rated input, CSPF 4.76, 5 stars on the DOE label. Monthly cost example and comparison with small window inverters.
Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.
Key takeaways
- The TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI is a 0.7HP DC inverter split aircon: 640 W rated input, CSPF 4.76, 5 stars on its DOE label, 1.94 kW of cooling.
- It is the only verified split-type unit under 1HP in our data. The other small verified inverters are window types.
- At full rated power, 8 hours a night for 30 days is about 154 kWh, roughly ₱1,843 at an example ₱12/kWh. Inverter units often average less.
- The iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL window unit (620 W, CSPF 5.05, 2.05 kW) rates higher on paper, but it is a window type.

The figures come from the DOE label in TCL’s official Lazada gallery. The label doesn’t state voltage, and we didn’t find a TCL spec sheet for this model, so ask the seller about voltage range if your area has frequent dips.
Small aircon, similar watts
A 0.7HP split isn’t much lighter on electricity than a 1HP unit. This unit’s 640 W is close to the 650 W of TCL’s 1HP P7, and the P7 delivers far more cooling (3.06 kW vs 1.94 kW). So the TAC-07CSA/KEI is not the “low-wattage” choice its size suggests. Its real advantage is a split-type install, with a quiet indoor unit, in a room too small for a 1HP. An oversized aircon in a tiny room tends to cycle and leave the air clammy.
What it costs to run each month
monthly kWh = watts × hours per day × days ÷ 1,000
For a small bedroom used 8 hours a night, 30 nights:
- At full rated power: 640 × 8 × 30 ÷ 1,000 = 153.6 kWh, about ₱1,843 at an example rate of ₱12 per kWh. Use your own bill’s rate.
- At half the rated input on average (an example assumption; the label uses the same 0.5 factor for inverters, and real use varies): 76.8 kWh, about ₱922.
Use the aircon electricity cost calculator with your own hours, and look up your electric company on the electricity rates page.
How it compares with other small inverter aircons
No other verified split in our data is under 1HP, so the closest comparisons are small inverter window units:
| Model | Type | HP | Rated input | CSPF | Cooling | Stars |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TCL TAC-07CSA/KEI | Split | 0.7 | 640 W | 4.76 | 1.94 kW | 5 |
| iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL | Window | 0.7 | 620 W | 5.05 | 2.05 kW | 5 |
| Kolin KAG-75WCINV | Window | 0.75 | 725 W | 4.45 | 2.47 kW | 5 |
| LG LA080ENT | Window | 0.8 | 800 W | 4.7 | 2.64 kW | 3 (newer label) |
The iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL, sold through TCL’s store, draws slightly fewer rated watts, cools a little more and has a higher CSPF. If you have a window opening and don’t mind the compressor noise, it rates better on paper. The Kolin KAG-75WCINV and LG LA080ENT cool noticeably more but draw more watts. The LG’s 3 stars are on a newer label with different star bands, so compare its CSPF instead.
Who the TAC-07CSA/KEI suits
- Small bedrooms or a nursery of roughly 10–12 m², where a 1HP would be oversized.
- Rooms without a suitable window opening, or buildings that don’t allow window units.
- Light sleepers, since a split keeps the compressor outdoors.
A split-type install needs proper piping, vacuuming and outdoor-unit placement. Use a licensed technician or TCL’s authorised installer. For the trade-offs between compressor types, read inverter vs non-inverter aircons.
