- Carrying around the house, to work or on trips
- Recharging from solar panels (up to 110 W of input)

Estimated brownout runtimes
Runtime ≈ 245 Wh × 0.85 ÷ load (W). The 0.85 factor allows for usable capacity and AC conversion losses, in line with the factor EcoFlow and other makers use. Real runtime varies.

What it can run on its own
Each appliance by itself, using example wattages. Motor appliances are checked against the surge rating at about 3× their running watts.

Fridges, freezers and aircons cycle on and off, so they usually last longer than the “runtime alone” figure suggests.
Recharging with solar
It accepts up to 110 W of solar input (11-30V, 8A). With about 4.7 peak sun hours a day (the Philippine average) and allowing about 20% for losses, a full recharge from empty takes roughly:
- 0.6 sunny days with a 200 W panel
Estimate: capacity ÷ (panel watts ÷ 1.2 × peak sun hours). Cloudy weather, shading and panel angle reduce charging.

Notes: ph.ecoflow.com has no stand-alone 'RIVER 3' listing (only 'RIVER 3 (UPS)' and a 'RIVER 3 230' variant). The www.ecoflow.com/ph RIVER 3 series page (specSourceUrl) confirms 245Wh and '300W output, X-Boost to 600W'. All other specs come from EcoFlow's official manual (manuals.ecoflow.com, which covers RIVER 3, RIVER 3 (10 ms UPS) and RIVER 3 (230), model EFR705) and the UK store spec table. The UPS figure is from the UK store ('RIVER 3: <20 ms; RIVER 3 UPS: <10 ms'); the EcoFlow PH Lazada listing also says '<20ms UPS'. Weight conflict: the manual says approx. 3.5 kg and the UK store says 3.55 kg; the manual value is used.
