Best Solar Panels for the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus: Filling Two 800W Ports
Solar panels for the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus: two 800W ports (60V, 18A), 1600W total, and which EcoFlow panel setups come closest to filling them.
Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.
Key takeaways
- The DELTA 3 Ultra Plus has two solar ports, each 11-60V, 18A and 800W max, for 1600W total. Both can charge at once.
- The biggest verified setup per port is 5 x 125W Bifacial in parallel (625W). On both ports that's 1,250W.
- Simpler setups: 2 x 220W NextGen in series (440W) or 1 x 400W Lightweight per port.
- No single EcoFlow panel setup in our checks fills a full 800W port, because the 60V and 18A limits stop it first.
- Example: 5 x 125W on each port charges the 3,072Wh battery in roughly 3.5 hours of strong sun (estimate).

For the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus, the setup that puts in the most solar is 5 x 125W Bifacial panels in parallel on each of its two ports (625W per port, 1,250W total). Simpler options are 2 x 220W NextGen in series or 1 x 400W Lightweight per port. Each port takes 11-60V, 18A and up to 800W, for 1600W total.
Why you can’t quite fill an 800W port
The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus allows 800W per port, but each port also has a 60V and 18A ceiling. EcoFlow’s portable panels hit one of those limits before they reach 800W:
- 220W and 160W panels are about 21V each, so only two fit in series under 60V. In parallel, two of them draw too much current.
- 400W panels are 37-39V each, so only one fits per port.
- 125W Bifacial panels are 50V but only 3.2A, so they stack in parallel. Five is 16A; six would be 19.2A, over 18A.
So the realistic maximum with these panels is 625W per port. That’s still a lot of solar for a 3,072Wh battery.
Compatibility table (per port)
| Panel | Works? | Count and wiring per port | Usable W per port | Cable | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 125W Bifacial | Yes | 1 to 5 in parallel | up to 625W | XT60W-to-XT60i, included; panels daisy-chain | Lazada / Shopee |
| 220W NextGen (single-face) | Yes | 1, or 2 in series | up to 440W | MC4-to-XT60i, included | Lazada |
| 400W Lightweight | Yes | 1 only | 400W | None (built-in XT60) | Lazada |
| 400W Rigid (pack of 2) | Yes | 1 only | 400W | Solar to XT60i cable, not included | Lazada |
| 160W NextGen (single-face) | Yes | 1, or 2 in series | up to 320W | MC4-to-XT60i, included | Shopee / Lazada |
Avoid: two 400W panels in series (74-79V), three 220W or 160W in series (over 60V), any parallel pair of 160W, 220W or 400W rigid panels (too much current), and 125W panels in series (100V).
Example: solar charge time
Put 5 x 125W in parallel on each port: 1,250W rated.
- Example assumption: panels deliver about 70% of their rating on a hot Philippine day.
- 1,250W x 0.7 ≈ 875W.
- 3,072Wh ÷ 875W ≈ 3.5 hours of strong sun.
With 2 x 220W in series on each port instead (880W rated, about 616W real), it’s closer to 5 hours. With an example 4.5 peak sun hours a day, the first setup refills an empty battery in about one sunny day; the second needs a day and a bit. These are estimates. EcoFlow’s lab claim is 1600W input, 0-80% in 101 minutes, under optimal conditions.
Ten 125W panels take space. Each weighs 4.2 kg, so plan for a clear, unshaded patch of yard or terrace.
Setup steps
- Lay out the 125W panels in full sun, angled toward the sky.
- Daisy-chain up to five through their XT60W leads, as shown in the 125W manual, and connect the last one with the included XT60W-to-XT60i cable.
- Plug the chain into solar port 1. Repeat on port 2 with the second set.
- Check the input watts on the screen. EcoFlow rates each panel 125W on the front face, and up to 138W when the back side also catches light (bifacial gain).
These portable panels are plug-and-play and you can set them up by following the manual. A roof mount, or any wiring into your home’s circuits, needs a licensed electrician and an LGU electrical permit.
What to buy
- EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus on Shopee (EcoFlow Philippines store) or on Lazada
- Up to 10 x EcoFlow 125W Bifacial on Lazada (EcoFlow PH) or on Shopee, or
- 4 x EcoFlow 220W panel on Lazada (two series pairs), or
- 2 x EcoFlow 400W Lightweight on Lazada, one per port
Check today’s price. EcoFlow PH says the Ultra Plus expansion adapter is currently not available in the Philippines, so the 3,072Wh built in is what you get for now.

Bottom line
To get the most solar into the DELTA 3 Ultra Plus, use both ports with up to five 125W Bifacial panels each. If you want fewer, lighter pieces, two 220W panels in series per port is the easy middle option. One 400W panel per port is the simplest of all.
