Kolin KA-100GQAIINV32 Power Consumption: Watts, CSPF and Monthly Cost
Kolin Quad AI KA-100GQAIINV32 1HP window inverter: 740 W, CSPF 5.6, 4 stars on a newer DOE label (not 5). Monthly cost example and 1HP window comparisons.
Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.
Key takeaways
- The Kolin KA-100GQAIINV32 (Quad AI) is a 1HP full DC inverter window aircon: 740 W rated input, CSPF 5.6 and 2.86 kW cooling on its DOE label.
- The label shows 4 stars, not the 5 stars in the Lazada listing. It is a newer label with different star bands, so its CSPF is the fairer comparison.
- CSPF 5.6 is the highest of the verified 1HP window aircons in our data.
- At full rated power, 8 hours a night for 30 days is about 178 kWh, roughly ₱2,131 at an example ₱12/kWh. Anson's lists a 148–888 W input range.

The Kolin KA-100GQAIINV32 (Quad AI) is a 1HP inverter window aircon with a DOE-label power input of 740 W, a CSPF of 5.6 and 4 stars. That CSPF is the highest of any verified 1HP window unit in our data. Ignore the “5 stars” and “1,200 W” in the listing; the label says otherwise. It is sold by the Kolin store on Lazada.

Two listing claims that don’t match the label
Stars. The Lazada listing says “Star Rating: 5”. The DOE label reproduced by Anson’s shows 4 stars. Newer labels use different star bands from older ones. On those newer bands, CSPF 5.6 earns 4 stars, while older labels gave 5 stars to units with lower CSPFs. So the 4 stars here do not mean it is less efficient than a 5-star unit on an older label.
Watts. The listing shows “Power Input: 740 W” and also “Rated Power: 1,200 W, Rated Current: 5.30 A”. The label says 740 W, and Anson’s lists a top input of 888 W. We use 740 W. Kolin hasn’t explained the 1,200 W figure in any source we could open.
The same applies to the label’s low monthly figure of 57.15 kWh. Newer labels calculate it differently, so don’t compare it with the monthly kWh on older labels. See how to read the Philippine aircon energy label for more.
What it costs to run each month
monthly kWh = watts × hours per day × days ÷ 1,000
For 8 hours a night, 30 nights:
- At full rated power: 740 × 8 × 30 ÷ 1,000 = 177.6 kWh, about ₱2,131 at an example rate of ₱12 per kWh. Use your own bill’s rate.
- At half the rated input on average (an example assumption; inverters often run below rated power once the room is cool, and the 148 W minimum shows how low this one can go): 88.8 kWh, about ₱1,066.
Test your own hours in the aircon electricity cost calculator and find your electric company’s rate on the electricity rates page.
How it compares with other 1HP window aircons
| Model | Rated input | CSPF | Cooling capacity | Stars |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kolin KA-100GQAIINV32 | 740 W | 5.6 | 2.86 kW | 4 (newer label) |
| TCL TAC-09CWI/UB2 | 850 W | 5.12 | 2.6 kW | 5 (older label) |
| TCL TAC-09CWI/UJE2 | 733 W | 4.88 | 2.6 kW | 5 (older label) |
| Samsung AW40F09D0ATNTC | 820 W | not published (EER 3.1 W/W) | 2.5 kW | 5 |
The Kolin leads on CSPF and has the most cooling capacity of the four. The TCL UJE2 draws 7 W less at its rated point, which is practically the same, but it cools less and scores lower on CSPF. The TCL UB2 is the closest on CSPF. The Samsung AW40F09D0ATNTC doesn’t publish a CSPF, so it can’t be ranked on the same basis.
For a bigger room, Kolin’s 1.5HP sibling, the KA-150GQAIINV32, has CSPF 5.53 at 1,010 W, also with 4 stars on a newer label.
Who the KA-100GQAIINV32 suits
- Buyers who rank 1HP window units by efficiency: on verified labels, none beats its CSPF.
- Medium bedrooms of about 14–18 m² (Anson’s figure), where its extra capacity over the TCL units helps on hot nights.
- Lazada shoppers: it has no Shopee link in our data.
The listing mentions “Soft Start Up”, but Kolin doesn’t publish a starting current, so don’t rely on it for generator or power-station sizing. Have it installed by a licensed technician or Kolin’s authorised installer, with the window frame sealed well. See also inverter vs non-inverter aircons.

Bottom line
On its DOE label, the Kolin KA-100GQAIINV32 is a 740 W, CSPF 5.6 inverter window aircon with 2.86 kW of cooling. That makes it the most efficient verified 1HP window unit we found. Its 4 stars reflect the newer star bands, not a weaker unit.
