Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.

Key takeaways

  • Among the 0.6HP window aircons we could verify, the Fujidenzo WAR-632IGT2 has the highest CSPF (3.35, retailer-listed) at 513 W rated input.
  • The Kelvinator WKELA006EA-TF draws the fewest watts (468 W) with a CSPF of 3.32, but it also has the smallest rated cooling capacity (1.47 kW).
  • Every verified 0.6HP model here is fixed-speed (non-inverter), including units sold as "inverter grade" or "inverter class".
  • A 0.7HP inverter such as the iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL (CSPF 5.05, 620 W) gives more cooling per kWh than any verified 0.6HP unit.
  • Compare CSPF and rated watts across any labels; compare stars and monthly kWh only between labels issued in the same year.

The 0.6HP aircon that gives the most cooling per kWh, among the models we could verify, is the Fujidenzo WAR-632IGT2 (CSPF 3.35, 513 W). The Kelvinator WKELA006EA-TF is a hair behind on CSPF (3.32) but draws the fewest watts of any 0.6HP unit we checked (468 W). All verified 0.6HP models are fixed-speed window units, so their efficiency is close; the bigger saving comes from stepping up to a small inverter.

How we ranked them

We ranked by CSPF first, then by rated power input (watts). CSPF (Cooling Seasonal Performance Factor) is the “Energy Efficiency Rating” number on the Philippine DOE energy label: the heat removed over a standard cooling season divided by the electricity used. Higher CSPF means more cooling for each kWh you pay for.

We only included models whose rated watts and CSPF (or EER) come from a DOE energy label or the manufacturer. Prices are not listed because they change daily — check today’s price on the listing.

0.6HP window aircons ranked

Rank Model Type Rated input CSPF Stars Rated cooling capacity
1 Fujidenzo WAR-632IGT2 Window, sold as “inverter grade” (fixed-speed) 513 W 3.35* 2* Not published
2 Kelvinator WKELA006EA-TF Window, non-inverter 468 W 3.32 1 (newer label) 1.47 kW
3 iFFALCON IFAC-06CW/UL Window, manual non-inverter 510 W 3.20 1 (older label) 1.59 kW
4 Astron TCL-60MA / TCL-RE60 Window, sold as “inverter class” (fixed-speed) 580 W Not published (EER 9.9 kJ/h per W) Not published 5,760 kJ/h (about 1.6 kW)

*Fujidenzo publishes the 513 W figure; the CSPF and star rating come from retailer Western Appliances. The Astron entry is ranked last because Astron publishes an EER but no CSPF.

What the numbers mean for your bill

The CSPF gap is small. Between 3.20 and 3.35, the four units are close. For fixed-speed aircons of this size, your monthly cost depends more on watts and hours than on which brand you pick.

Lowest watts is not the whole story. The Kelvinator uses 468 W, but its rated capacity is also the lowest at 1.47 kW. In a warm room it may run longer to reach your set temperature. If your room gets afternoon sun, a unit with more capacity per watt is the safer choice.

Astron gives less cooling per watt at its rated point. Astron publishes an EER of 9.9 kJ/h per W. Working the same ratio from the label figures of the others (our calculation, not a published number): Kelvinator 1.47 kW × 3,600 ÷ 468 W ≈ 11.3 kJ/h per W, and iFFALCON 1.59 kW × 3,600 ÷ 510 W ≈ 11.2 kJ/h per W.

Don’t compare stars across label versions. The Fujidenzo shows 2 stars and the Kelvinator 1 star with almost the same CSPF. Star bands changed between older and newer labels, so stars only compare fairly between labels issued in the same year. CSPF and watts compare fairly across all of them. Our guide to reading the energy label explains this.

Example monthly cost

Example only: 8 hours a night for 30 days, at an example rate of ₱12 per kWh — use your own bill’s rate from our electricity rates page. This uses full rated power, which is the upper end, because a fixed-speed compressor switches off when the room is cool enough. How often it cycles depends on your room.

Model kWh per month (full power) Example cost
Kelvinator WKELA006EA-TF (468 W) 112.3 kWh about ₱1,348
iFFALCON IFAC-06CW/UL (510 W) 122.4 kWh about ₱1,469
Fujidenzo WAR-632IGT2 (513 W) 123.1 kWh about ₱1,477
Astron TCL-60MA / TCL-RE60 (580 W) 139.2 kWh about ₱1,670

Worth considering: a 0.7HP inverter

If your budget can stretch, the iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL on Lazada is a 0.7HP inverter window unit with a label CSPF of 5.05, 620 W rated input and 2.05 kW rated capacity. That is about 50% more CSPF than the best 0.6HP unit here, plus more cooling capacity. An inverter also slows its compressor once the room is cool instead of switching fully on and off, which suits all-night use. See our 0.7–0.8HP ranking and inverter vs non-inverter guide.

Not ranked (data not confirmed)

  • TCL TAC-06CWI/UB2 (0.6HP inverter): the DOE label shows CSPF 5.25 and 4 stars, but its printed power input (950 W) conflicts with the 470 W retailers list. We won’t quote a wattage until TCL confirms it.
  • “Inverter grade” and “inverter class” titles: these are marketing words, not inverter compressors. Astron says its “Inverter Class” means the unit uses R-32 refrigerant. Read what these labels really mean.

Where to buy

Before you pay, check that the model code on the listing matches the one you want. Then check the energy label on the unit when it arrives. Have a licensed technician or the brand’s authorised installer mount the unit and check that your outlet and wiring suit it.

Bottom line

For a 0.6HP window aircon, the Fujidenzo WAR-632IGT2 and Kelvinator WKELA006EA-TF are the most efficient verified choices, and the Kelvinator draws the fewest watts. They are all fixed-speed units. If you run the aircon every night, the 0.7HP iFFALCON IFAC-07CWI/UL inverter gives noticeably more cooling per kWh.

Frequently asked questions

How many watts does a 0.6HP aircon use?
The verified 0.6HP window units we checked are rated at 468 W to 580 W of power input: Kelvinator WKELA006EA-TF 468 W, iFFALCON IFAC-06CW/UL 510 W, Fujidenzo WAR-632IGT2 513 W and Astron TCL-60MA / TCL-RE60 580 W. The exact figure for any unit is printed on its yellow DOE energy label.
Is there a 0.6HP inverter aircon?
Some are sold, such as the TCL TAC-06CWI/UB2. Its DOE label shows a CSPF of 5.25, but the power input printed on the label (950 W) conflicts with the 470 W retailers list, so we have not ranked it. Check the label on the actual unit and ask the seller to confirm the rated watts.
Is the cheapest-to-run 0.6HP aircon the one with the lowest watts?
Not always. A unit with lower watts may also have less cooling capacity, so it can run longer to cool the same room. CSPF tells you how much cooling you get per kWh, which is why we rank by CSPF first and watts second.
What room size is a 0.6HP aircon for?
Makers differ. Astron suggests 12 to 17 sqm for its 0.6HP TCL-60MA, while the Kelvinator listing says up to 10 sqm. Compare the rated cooling capacity in kW or kJ/h instead, and allow for sun, roof heat and how many people use the room.
