Key takeaways
- The Samsung AR60H13D1FWNTC is a 1.5HP Digital Inverter split aircon. Its DOE label (model AR60H13D1FWN) shows 1,030 W input, CSPF 5.7, 5 stars and 3.52 kW cooling.
- The label's 139.05 kWh a month is exactly 1.03 kW × 9 hours × 30 days × 0.5, the older-label formula for inverter units.
- At full rated power, 10 hours a day for 30 days is 309 kWh, about ₱3,708 at an example ₱12/kWh. Inverter units often average less.
- It beats the Midea MSCH-13CRFN8 (same capacity, 1,250 W, CSPF 5.45) but trails the TCL P7 1.5HP (1,000 W, CSPF 6.74).

About the model code
The DOE label covers AR60H13D1FWN / AR60H13D1FWX. The Shopee listing sells AR60H13D1FWNTC, and SM Appliance writes AR60H13D1FWN/XTC. The extra letters look like Samsung market or packaging suffixes on the same base model. Samsung hasn’t confirmed this in any page we could find, so when the unit arrives, check that the yellow label on the indoor unit shows 1,030 W and CSPF 5.70.
How the label’s monthly figure works
This label is a clean example of the older-label formula: 1.03 kW × 9 hours × 30 days × 0.5 = 139.05 kWh. The 0.5 is the DOE’s standard factor for inverter units on those labels. It assumes the compressor averages half its rated input. Your real use will differ. Labels issued under the newer method give lower monthly figures that don’t follow this formula, so compare monthly kWh only between labels of the same issuance year.
What it costs to run each month
1.5HP splits often run long hours in a living room. This example uses 10 hours a day:
monthly kWh = watts × hours per day × days ÷ 1,000
- At full rated power: 1,030 × 10 × 30 ÷ 1,000 = 309 kWh, about ₱3,708 at an example rate of ₱12 per kWh (use your own bill’s rate).
- At half the rated input on average (the label’s 0.5 factor, used here as an example assumption; real use varies): 154.5 kWh, about ₱1,854.

How it compares with other 1.5HP split aircons
| Model | Rated input | CSPF | Cooling capacity | Stars |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TCL TAC-14CSD/P7 | 1,000 W | 6.74 | 3.89 kW | 5 |
| TCL TAC-12CSD/FBI | 1,130 W | 6.34 | 3.61 kW | 5 |
| Samsung AR60H13D1FWNTC | 1,030 W | 5.7 | 3.52 kW | 5 |
| Midea MSCH-13CRFN8 | 1,250 W | 5.45 (retailer) | 12,660 kJ/h | 5 (retailer) |
The Midea MSCH-13CRFN8 has exactly the same 12,660 kJ/h capacity. The Samsung does that job with 220 W less rated input and a higher CSPF, so it should cost less to run for the same cooling.
Two TCL units rate higher. The TCL P7 1.5HP draws slightly less, cools more and has a much higher CSPF. The TCL FBI 1.5HP draws more rated watts but has a higher CSPF (6.34), meaning better seasonal efficiency. Whether the TCLs are worth it depends on today’s prices and your hours. Who the AR60H13D1FWNTC suits
- Samsung buyers who want a 5-star 1.5HP split from Samsung’s own Shopee store.
- Medium rooms where 3.52 kW of cooling is enough. Samsung doesn’t publish a room size here, so ask an installer to check your room.
- Households replacing an older non-inverter split that runs many hours a day, where an inverter’s part-load running tends to help most.
Split installation needs proper piping, vacuuming and outdoor-unit placement. Use a licensed technician or Samsung’s authorised installer. For Samsung’s 1HP window inverter, see the AW40F09D0ATNTC guide.

Bottom line
The Samsung AR60H13D1FWNTC is a solid 5-star 1.5HP split: 1,030 W, CSPF 5.7, 3.52 kW. It beats the Midea Chione 1.5HP on the same capacity, while TCL’s P7 and FBI 1.5HP rate higher on CSPF.
