TCL TAC-14CSD/P7 Power Consumption: Watts, CSPF and Monthly Cost
TCL TAC-14CSD/P7 1.5HP split inverter: 1,000 W rated input, CSPF 6.74, 5 stars, 3.89 kW cooling. Monthly cost example and how it compares with other 1.5HP splits.
Checked against the sources listed below. How we research.
Key takeaways
- The TCL TAC-14CSD/P7 is a 1.5HP AI full DC inverter split aircon (P7 FreshIN 3.0): 1,000 W rated input, CSPF 6.74, 5 stars on its DOE label.
- CSPF 6.74 is the highest among the verified 1.5HP aircons in our data.
- Its 3.89 kW cooling capacity ties with the Kolin KA-150GQAIINV32 window unit for the most among those 1.5HP units, and its 1,000 W is the lowest rated input of any of them.
- At full rated power, 10 hours a day for 30 days is 300 kWh, about ₱3,600 at an example ₱12/kWh. Inverter units often average less.

The TCL TAC-14CSD/P7 is a 1.5HP inverter split-type aircon with a DOE-label power input of 1,000 W, a CSPF of 6.74 and 5 stars. It cools 3.89 kW. Among the verified 1.5HP units we checked, that is the highest CSPF and the lowest rated input, and its cooling capacity is matched only by one Kolin window unit. Buy it through the P7 FreshIN 3.0 series at the TCL Official Store on Shopee or the TCL store on Lazada.

These figures come from the DOE label in TCL’s official Lazada gallery. TCL’s room-size range and voltage range for this model weren’t in the sources we could open. Ask the seller, or have an installer size the unit for your room. On the Lazada page we checked, the product description text described a TV, not this aircon, so trust the label image over the description.
What it costs to run each month
1.5HP units often cool a living room or a large bedroom for long stretches. This example uses 10 hours a day:
monthly kWh = watts × hours per day × days ÷ 1,000
- At full rated power: 1,000 × 10 × 30 ÷ 1,000 = 300 kWh, about ₱3,600 at an example rate of ₱12 per kWh (use your own bill’s rate).
- At half the rated input on average (an example assumption, using the label’s 0.5 inverter factor; real use varies): 150 kWh, about ₱1,800.
A round 1,000 W makes mental maths easy: each hour at full rated power is 1 kWh. Run your own numbers in the aircon electricity cost calculator, with your electric company’s rate from the electricity rates page.
How it compares with other 1.5HP split aircons
| Model | Rated input | CSPF | Cooling capacity | Stars |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TCL TAC-14CSD/P7 | 1,000 W | 6.74 | 3.89 kW | 5 |
| TCL TAC-12CSD/FBI | 1,130 W | 6.34 | 3.61 kW | 5 |
| Samsung AR60H13D1FWNTC | 1,030 W | 5.7 | 3.52 kW | 5 |
| Midea MSCH-13CRFN8 | 1,250 W | 5.45 | about 3.52 kW (12,660 kJ/h) | 5 (retailer) |
The P7 1.5HP comes out ahead on every column. TCL’s older FreshIN 2.0 FBI 1.5HP is the nearest on CSPF. Note that TCL’s spec sheet for the FBI says 1,050 W, while its DOE label says 1,130 W; we use the label.
The Samsung AR60H13D1FWNTC draws similar rated watts (1,030 W) but cools less and has a lower CSPF. The Midea MSCH-13CRFN8 uses 250 W more at its rated point for less cooling.
If you only have a window opening, the best verified 1.5HP window units score lower. The TCL TAC-12CWI/UB2, for example, has CSPF 5.04.
Who the TAC-14CSD/P7 suits
- Living rooms, family bedrooms or work-from-home rooms used many hours a day, where CSPF matters most.
- Rooms that run warm, since 3.89 kW is more cooling than the other verified 1.5HP split units offer.
- Buyers who want TCL’s official store on both Shopee and Lazada.
It may cost more to buy than lower-CSPF units, so check today’s price and work out payback with our inverter vs non-inverter guide. A split-type must be installed properly, with correct piping, vacuuming and outdoor-unit placement. Use a licensed technician or TCL’s authorised installer.
