Which EcoFlow Power Stations Work With the EcoFlow 125W Bifacial Solar Panel?

The EcoFlow 125W bifacial panel (50V) suits DELTA 3 models and RIVER 3 Plus/Max, wired in parallel. It must not go on RIVER 2, RIVER 3 or RIVER 2 Max/Pro.

The EcoFlow 125W Bifacial Modular Solar Panel is made for DELTA 3 stations. Wire 4 in parallel on one solar port for 500W. It also works on the RIVER 3 Plus, RIVER 3 Max and RIVER 3 Max Plus (1 panel, or 2 in parallel). Because its open-circuit voltage is 50V, it must not go on a RIVER 2, RIVER 3 or RIVER 3 UPS (30V max), or on a RIVER 2 Max or RIVER 2 Pro (50V max, with no safety margin).

What makes this panel different

Most EcoFlow portable panels run at about 21V. This one runs at 43V (Voc 50V) and a low 2.9A (Isc 3.2A). That high-voltage, low-current design is why EcoFlow recommends wiring it in parallel: the voltage stays at 50V while the current adds up. Its manual lists up to 8 panels in parallel.

From the manual and the PH store:

  • 125W (STC), up to 138W with bifacial gain (BNPI), when Isc can reach 3.4A per panel
  • 4.2 kg, waterproof XT60W connector (IP68)
  • In the box: an XT60W-to-XT60i extension cable
  • Parallel wiring: the panels daisy-chain through their own XT60W leads, with no extra cable

Compatibility table

DELTA 3 Max Plus 11–60V, 18A per port, 2 ports 1–5 parallel per port Total 1,000W (see note)
DELTA 3 Ultra Plus 11–60V, 18A, 800W per port 1–5 parallel per port 625W per port
DELTA Pro 11–150V, 15A, 1,600W 1–4 parallel, or 2 series 500W (4 parallel)
DELTA Pro 3, Low-PV 11–60V, 20A, 1,000W 1–6 parallel 750W (see note)

Notes:

  • DELTA 3 Max, 4 in parallel: 12.8A is within the 13A limit, but with bifacial gain the current could reach 13.6A. Avoid white or reflective ground under the panels, or use 3 panels.
  • DELTA Pro 3 Low-PV, 6 in parallel: bifacial current could reach 20.4A against a 20A limit. Five is the more cautious choice.
  • DELTA 3 Max Plus: EcoFlow lists the total solar input as both 1,000W and 1,600W in different places. We use 1,000W. EcoFlow does not publish a per-port limit.
  • Series wiring on the DELTA Pro needs XT60W-to-solar-connector (MC4) cables, which come only in the 500W (125W × 4) set.
  • For the DELTA Pro 3 High-PV port, its manual names a “Solar to XT60 Charging cable”. EcoFlow does not confirm that this panel’s XT60W lead fits that port directly, so we leave it out of the table. We have not checked the DELTA Pro Ultra, because no official source confirms a connection path for XT60 panels.

Do not do this

  • Any RIVER 2 or RIVER 3/RIVER 3 UPS: 50V is far over their 30V maximum. EcoFlow’s manuals warn that overvoltage can damage the product.
  • RIVER 2 Max or RIVER 2 Pro: 50V equals the 50V limit, which leaves no headroom.
  • Two in series on any RIVER or DELTA 3: 100V is far over the limit.

Example charge time

EcoFlow PH says one 500W set (125W × 4) can fully charge a DELTA 3 (1,024Wh) “in as fast as 2–3 hours”. Simple maths agrees: 1,024 ÷ 500 ≈ 2 hours, if you get the full 500W. On a hazy afternoon, plan for longer. Use the EcoFlow runtime calculator to see how long that charge keeps your ref or electric fan running.

Setup

Lay the panels out in the sun, then plug each panel’s XT60W lead into the next one to daisy-chain them in parallel. Use the included XT60W-to-XT60i cable to connect the chain to the station. This is plug-and-play gear that you can set up yourself by following the manual. Fixing panels to a roof, or wiring anything into your home, needs a licensed electrician and an LGU electrical permit.

What to buy

Bottom line

Think of the 125W bifacial as a DELTA panel: four in parallel fill a DELTA 3 port. It is also fine on the RIVER 3 Plus family. Keep it away from 30V and 50V RIVER models.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the EcoFlow 125W bifacial panel with a RIVER 2 Max?
We advise against it. Its Voc is 50V, which equals the RIVER 2 Max's 50V maximum and leaves no safety margin, so it fails our check (we keep Voc at least 5% below the port maximum). Use a RIVER 3 Plus (55V) or a DELTA 3 (60V) instead.
How many EcoFlow 125W panels can a DELTA 3 take?
Up to 4 in parallel on its one solar port: 12.8A total, within the 15A limit, for 500W, which fills the port. EcoFlow PH says a 500W set (125W × 4) can fully charge a DELTA 3 in as fast as 2–3 hours.
Should I wire the 125W panels in series?
Not on any RIVER or DELTA 3. Two in series reach 100V, well over their 55V and 60V limits. EcoFlow recommends parallel wiring for this panel. Series wiring is only for 150V-class inputs such as the DELTA Pro.
What does 'bifacial' mean for my power station?
The back of the panel also collects reflected light. EcoFlow rates it 125W normally, and up to 138W with bifacial gain (BNPI), when the current per panel can reach 3.4A. On ports near their current limit, that extra current matters, as the table notes.
