Which EcoFlow Power Stations Work With the EcoFlow 400W Portable (Lightweight) Solar Panel?
The EcoFlow 400W Lightweight portable panel fits every DELTA 3 (one per port) and plugs in directly by XT60. Two in series are too high for DELTA 3. Full list.

Key takeaways
- The EcoFlow 400W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel (EF-FOLD-400-LW, bifacial) has Voc 39.3V and Isc 12.2A, and a built-in XT60 cable, so no adapter is needed.
- Every DELTA 3 model takes 1 panel per solar port. EcoFlow recommends 1 for a DELTA 3, and 2 (one per port) for a DELTA 3 Plus.
- Never put 2 in series on a DELTA 3: 78.6V is over the 60V limit on every DELTA 3 port.
- It works on a RIVER 2 Max, RIVER 2 Pro or RIVER 3 Plus/Max/Max Plus, but those stations only use 220W of it.
- DELTA Pro and DELTA Pro 3 (High-PV) can take up to 3 in series (1,200W).

The EcoFlow 400W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel suits every DELTA 3 model, with one panel per solar port. It plugs straight in with its built-in XT60 cable. EcoFlow itself recommends 1 for a DELTA 3 and 2 (one per port) for a DELTA 3 Plus. Never wire 2 in series on a DELTA 3: at 78.6V, they are over the 60V limit.
The panel in numbers
These figures are from EcoFlow’s manual and the EcoFlow PH store:
- 400W (STC), up to 445W with bifacial gain (BNPI)
- Voc 39.3V, Isc 12.2A (13.5A with bifacial gain); operating 34.5V at 11.7A
- About 10.2 kg
- Built-in XT60 cable, nothing extra in the box
The EcoFlow PH FAQ for the Lightweight series says the XT60 lead connects to EcoFlow power stations directly, with no adapter. It also says to use series (not parallel) between panels of the same model, that series cables are sold separately, and that no extension cable works with these panels. Plan to place the station near the panel.
Compatibility table
| Power station | Port limits | Panels / wiring that pass | Usable solar |
|---|---|---|---|
| RIVER 2 Max, RIVER 2 Pro | 11–50V, 13A, 220W | 1 single | 220W (port cap) |
| RIVER 3 Plus, RIVER 3 Max, RIVER 3 Max Plus | 11–55V, 13A, 220W | 1 single | 220W (port cap) |
| DELTA 3, 3 Classic, 3 1500 | 11–60V, 15A, 500W | 1 single | 400W |
| DELTA 3 1000 Air, 1000 Air UPS | 12–60V, 15A, 500W | 1 single | 400W |
| DELTA 3 Max | 11–60V, 13A, 500W | 1 single | 400W (see note) |
| DELTA 3 Plus, DELTA 3 2000 Air | 2 ports, 500W each | 1 per port | 800W with 2 panels |
| DELTA 3 Max Plus | 2 ports, 18A each | 1 per port | 800W with 2 panels |
| DELTA 3 Ultra Plus | 2 ports, 800W each | 1 per port | 800W with 2 panels |
| DELTA Pro | 11–150V, 15A, 1,600W | 1–3 in series | up to 1,200W |
| DELTA Pro 3, High-PV | 30–150V, 15A, 1,600W | 1–3 in series | up to 1,200W (see note) |
| DELTA Pro 3, Low-PV | 11–60V, 20A, 1,000W | 1 single | 400W |
Notes:
- Bifacial current on 13A ports: on a RIVER 2 Max/Pro, RIVER 3 Plus/Max/Max Plus and DELTA 3 Max, the normal 12.2A is within the 13A limit. With strong reflected light on the back, though, it can reach 13.5A, which is above the limit. On these models, avoid placing the panel over a white or reflective surface.
- Series on DELTA Pro / DELTA Pro 3: you need a series connection cable for XT60 panels, which EcoFlow says is sold separately. We could not identify the exact cable, so ask EcoFlow PH.
- DELTA Pro 3 High-PV port: the manual names an EcoFlow “Solar to XT60 Charging cable”. The panel’s XT60 lead is the same plug family, but EcoFlow does not separately confirm a direct fit for this port. The Low-PV port is the simpler choice for one panel.
- We did not check the DELTA Pro Ultra, because no official source confirms how XT60-lead panels connect to it.
Combinations to avoid
- RIVER 2, RIVER 3, RIVER 3 UPS: 39.3V is over the 30V limit, and 12.2A is over 8A.
- 2 in series on any DELTA 3 port, or on the DELTA Pro 3 Low-PV port: 78.6V is over 60V.
- 4 in series on a DELTA Pro or DELTA Pro 3 High-PV port: 157.2V is over 150V.
- Parallel wiring: EcoFlow PH does not recommend it for Lightweight panels.
Example charge time
Assuming full output the whole time, a best case:
- DELTA 3 (1,024Wh), 1 panel (400W): about 2.6 hours.
- DELTA 3 Plus (1,024Wh), 2 panels (800W): about 1.3 hours. EcoFlow quotes 70 minutes with 2 × 500W.
- DELTA 3 Max (2,048Wh), 1 panel: about 5.1 hours.
Real days in the rainy season will be slower. Run your own numbers in the EcoFlow runtime calculator.
What to buy
- Panel: EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel on Lazada (EcoFlow PH). Buy 1 per DELTA 3 port. Check today’s price.
- Station:
- DELTA 3 on Shopee / on Lazada. See the DELTA 3 guide.
- DELTA 3 Plus on Shopee / on Lazada. See the DELTA 3 Plus guide.
- DELTA 3 2000 Air on Shopee / on Lazada. See the DELTA 3 2000 Air guide.
- No adapter needed: the XT60 lead plugs straight in.
This is plug-and-play kit that you can set up yourself by following the manual. Anything wired into your home or fixed to the roof needs a licensed electrician and an LGU electrical permit.
Bottom line
One 400W Lightweight panel per DELTA 3 port is the simple, EcoFlow-recommended setup. Two-port models like the DELTA 3 Plus can take two. Don’t chain two in series on a DELTA 3, and don’t buy one for a 220W RIVER unless you need the extra watts for something else.
